1. What is the difference between a regular verified merchant and a diamond merchant?

Merchant Benefits:

In the peer-to-peer interface, blue (green) indicates P2P Merchant Program, while red (purple) indicates Diamond Merchant.

Merchant verification benefits/advantages are as follows:

1. If the verification period is less than 30 days, the daily buy limit is up to 250,000 CNY, the single buy ad limit is up to 100,000 CNY, and the single sell ad limit is up to 2,000,000 CNY.
2. If the verification period is more than 30 days and transaction behavior is good, your privileges are upgraded: no daily buy limit, and the single ad limit is up to 2,000,000 CNY.
3. For each token, you can post up to 2 buy ads and 2 sell ads at the same time.
4. Access your exclusive dashboard to manage ads, trades, assets, and get the latest marketplace information.
5. No need to wait in line online—dedicated customer service will resolve your complaints and disputes.
6. Receive exclusive benefits and merchandise.

2. How do I apply for or remove merchant status on my own?

1) How to apply for/remove merchant on the App:

Apply to become a Merchant on the App: Open the App Home -- [P2P Buy Crypto] - [Me] - [Apply to Become a Verified Merchant], and submit your application.

Remove Merchant status on the App: Open the App Home - [P2P Buy Crypto] - [Me] - [Remove Merchant Status] - [Remove Merchant under the corresponding identity level]

3. Merchant Application Process:

Complete information ➡ Pay the margin ➡ Wait for review ➡ Review feedback results

1) The review will be completed within 3 calendar days from the date of the customer's application.

2) Customer service review and the Merchant's dedicated operations manager both conduct reviews and maintenance within the platform Messages.

Note: If a delisted Merchant reapplies to become a Merchant using another account, the application will be rejected and they will not be able to apply as a Merchant again.

4. How do I log in to the Merchant dashboard / How do I use the Merchant dashboard?

2) How do I use the Merchant backend?

You can create an ad in the Merchant backend and post buy/sell ads according to your needs.

By clicking on Home, you can view P2P trading, VIP exclusive order price/quantity/number of merchants/number of ads, or the order price/quantity/number of merchants/number of ads under a specific payment method/KYC. You can also check price trends and your asset allocation.

Click on Orders to view ongoing or completed orders.

Click on the ad to view all your ad information. You can choose to edit/share/delete/delist a specific ad, or you can select online/offline.

Click on chat to communicate with the customer you are transacting with or with the Merchant operations manager.

Click on Receive & Pay, and you can add your payment methods such as bank card/WeChat/Alipay. You can also view, edit, or delete these payment methods.

Click on Trading Data Insights to view the status of completed orders, customers who have traded, ongoing orders, and the trading activity under selling or buying digital assets for today or the past 7 days.

Click Settings to view your Merchant rating, the number of completed orders in the past 30 days/total, buy/sell order completion rates, number of followers, and times you've been blocklisted; you can also set up security, manage frequently used phrases, view the number of people you follow or have blocklisted, manage transaction restrictions, and set message and sound notifications.

5. How do I export orders?

1) Viewing transaction data time range: You can only view transaction data from the past six months. If you need transaction data older than 6 months, please contact online customer service for assistance.

App side: Open the App - tap [P2P Buy Crypto], then tap [Orders] at the bottom of the P2P trading page - here you can view orders that are unfinished (in progress/in dispute) or completed (finished/canceled).

Web: Open the official website - click [Buy Crypto] - [P2P Buy Crypto] - click [Orders] - you can view orders that are incomplete (in progress/under dispute) or completed (finished/cancelled).

6. How to verify if the other party is the official OKX?

7. After a Merchant voluntarily cancels their Merchant status, how long does it take for the margin to be released?

P2P Merchant Program that wishes to revoke its verification must submit an application via the App/Web page. If there are no unresolved disputes or other negative records in the P2P Merchant Program's account, the platform will review and approve the request within 7 calendar days, and transfer the funds from the margin account to the operational account of the P2P Merchant Program requesting to revoke verification.

8. How should Merchant prevent phishing attacks?

(1) Do not click on unknown links or log in to insecure websites to avoid account and password leaks, which could result in asset loss.

(2) Account security information and authentication protection methods, such as ensuring that your account login name and password are not the same as those used on other websites, and keeping your private key and seed phrase confidential.

(3) Do not search for the OKX website through Google or other search engines and log in without carefully checking. It is recommended to manually enter the official website: https://www.okx.com

(4) Do not enter your account, password, or other sensitive information in an insecure environment, or disclose your account information to others, especially security-related information such as passwords and private keys.

(5) OKX has launched an anti-phishing code feature. You can set up your anti-phishing code in 'User Center - Security Center - Anti-Phishing Code.' After setting up the anti-phishing code, emails sent by OKX will include the code you set. If the email does not contain the anti-phishing code, it is a fake or fraudulent email.

9. After successfully becoming a Merchant, what reasons might lead to the termination of Merchant status?

  1. The Merchant has voluntarily revoked their Merchant status

  2. The Merchant was removed for violating transaction rules.

  3. The Merchant account has been deemed inactive for transaction.

10. What should a Merchant do if they did not apply to revoke their Merchant status but received a notification email about the cancellation of their P2P Merchant status?

According to platform rules, if a Merchant account is deemed transactionally inactive, the P2P Merchant status will be canceled. If you need to, you can reapply for a Merchant account after one month.

11. After revoking Merchant status, can I reapply to become a Merchant?

After the P2P Merchant Program is removed, reapplication is not allowed within 30 days. If you need to, you can reapply to open a Merchant account after 1 month.

12. If my Merchant application is not approved, can I apply again?

Whether you can reapply depends on the instructions shown on the page.
